Helping Hands: We invite a few helping hands to join in caring for our Memorial Garden, a sacred space that thrives through God’s goodness and the faithful stewardship of volunteers like you. If you can spare a little time to water the flowers—no gardening skills needed, just a willingness to keep things blooming. Please sign up in the narthex for one or more weeks during the month of September! This Week’s Watering Volunteer: Mary Catherine Williams. 

Canterbury Club: The Canterbury Club will be meeting this evening at 6 PM casual attire - hosted by Becky Beckett, Chris and Jim Justice, Nancy and Chuck Stark. Location is the Beckett's home. Main dish will be provided, please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

​Coffee Hour: A Coffee Hour host is needed for September 20th and for the month of October. Please sign up on the whiteboard located outside the library. If you have any questions, you may contact:

September/October Collection for Food Pantry Recipients: We will be collecting socks.
 
Adult Education Bible Study: As part of Christ Church’s Adult Education, a 10 week bible study is being offered this fall. We began on September 6 and  will continue through November 8, from 11:45-1:00. Participants will independently work through the weekly lessons, then review them the following Sunday in an open class forum, then view a teaching video featuring Jen Wilkin. Study books cost $20 each and are available in the office.
 
Rector’s Discretionary Fund: The Sunday loose offerings (cash in the offertory plate) will be designated for the Rector’s Discretionary Fund during the months of September and October. Checks can also be made to Christ Church; memo-RDF. Thank you, All, for your loving and generous support of this ministry.
